Q Each of you has been responsible to be an active contributor in the AI Community Challenge process. You have already submitted your group deliverables. Now, submit your portion of the proposal (the portion that you contributed) as an assignment. If it’s easier, you can submit the entire plan and very clearly note which pieces you did, for example by highlighting your specific contributions. In addition, you will submit a short report reflecting on the process and your work on the team. This self-appraisal has a reflective component to it, so this will also be your reflection for the week. Your report should cover all the following: • Outline and evaluate your work contributions to the team. Be specific. If you were unable to meet certain obligations, talk candidly about why that was and how you would address this in a work situation. • Talk about how the process was for you, including areas of challenge (time management, inter-group conflicting ideas, divergent leadership styles, shared document work, stress, illness, etc.). • How did you find the balance of working on your team deliverable independently and coming together as a group to refine and finalize the full proposal? • What lessons did you learn from the ethical review of your proposal? In what ways was the feedback helpful to you and in what ways was it not helpful? • What was it like for you to embody a leadership style throughout the term and to work with teammates using other leadership styles? • Close your report by discussing where you feel you excelled and where you feel you could have been a stronger collaborator on the team. Share how we can support you in growing in team collaborations going forward in your degree program. ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS No references are needed—just your own honest self-appraisal.
